The old 12 O' Clock High shows can't begin to compete with todays special effects but what the new TV shows lack is the depth and meaning of the stories. They are pretty shallow. The 12 O' Clock High shows were very well written. They taught ethics and morality. They showed the importance of responsibility, character building, team work, sacrifice and leadership.
